On January 26th, Mr. Sohail Shaikh, British Deputy Trade Envoy (Minister-Counsellor rank), visited DODGEN's Shanghai office. Ms. Xu Heng, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai New Materials Industry Fund Alliance, accompanied the visit. Mr. Tang Xi, Chairman of DODGEN, warmly welcomed them. Discussions revolved around topics such as carbon neutrality, green technology, and sustainable development, exploring the development of green technology under carbon neutrality. Finally, they visited DODGEN's Shanghai showroom together.
Sohail Shaikh shared the policies and measures of the United Kingdom in green development,
"The UK is the first country to legislate for net zero emissions, committing to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. British businesses are actively addressing climate change through measures such as reducing carbon emissions from the supply chain and adopting sustainable business practices. China and the UK share common goals in addressing climate change. We look forward to more cooperation between the two sides in the field of green technology to contribute to a better life for humanity."
