On February 16th, the award ceremony for the top 100 enterprises and innovative entrepreneurs in Qingpu District was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center with the theme of “Strategic Empowerment Fosters New Opportunities, Accumulate Strength to Start a New Journey”. DODGEN Company was awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Team of Qingpu District in 2022”.The Secretary of Qingpu District Committee, Jian Xu, the Deputy Secretary and District Governor, Xiaojing Yang, the Director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, Mingfu Zhu, the Chairman of the District Political Consultative Conference, Weidong Cao, the Deputy Secretary of the District Committee, Quanquan Zhang and other district leaders attended the conference. DODGEN Company's Chairman, Xi Tang, was invited to attend and accept the award. DODGEN has gathered nearly a hundred R&D and engineering talents, including many well-known experts in the industry. The Science and Technology Department of Ningxia Region issued a series of documents announcing the second batch of follow-up supported projects under the key research and development program of the autonomous region for 2022. DODGEN's research and development platform for high-molecular-weight Polyglycolic acid/polyhydroxyalkanoates biodegradable new materials was selected for the program.
This project focuses on the monomer thermosensitivity of Polyglycolic acid and other hydroxy fatty acid polyester products. Through technical research and transformation, high molecular weight ethylene acid hydroxy fatty acid copolymers are obtained, and continuous production of copolymers is achieved while ensuring high purity quality. These copolymers are applied to replace traditional petroleum-based materials and will make significant contributions to reducing carbon dioxide emissions, reducing plastic pollution, and providing a sustainable future.
