A method for preparing CoTe nanowire-graphene composite material

This invention discloses a method for preparing CoTe nanowire-graphene composite material, which is composed of CoTe nanowires dispersed in graphene nanosheets. The preparation method includes dispersing graphene oxide in a mixture of N,N-dimethylformamide and water, adding cobalt acetate, NaOH, and hydrazine hydrate, continuously stirring to transform the transparent pink solution into a pink precipitate, and then adding sodium tellurite and sodium dodecyl sulfate for a heating reaction. The CoTe nanowire-graphene composite material not only has a large charge-discharge capacity and good conductivity but also facilitates the electrochemical process. Moreover, the one-pot method is not only simple with strong operability but also easy to control, making it highly applicable and valuable for the preparation and application of subsequent energy storage devices based on CoTe.
