From September 19th to 23rd, 2023, the 23rd China International Industry Fair opened grandly at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. DODGEN's booth was centrally located in Hall 7.2, in the New Materials Industry Zone, adjacent to top-tier new materials companies such as SINOPEC, HUAYI, BASF, and others.
The Industrial Expo was co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Shanghai Municipal Government, with the support of the China Machinery Industry Federation. The exhibition featured nine major specialized zones with a total display area of 300,000 square meters. It has attracted active participation from over 2,800 companies representing more than 30 countries and regions, including nine countries along the "Belt and Road Initiative", over 70 Fortune Global 500 companies, leading industry enterprises, and more than a hundred specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises. The scale and number of exhibitors have both reached historic highs.
The theme of this year's Industrial Expo closely followed the future direction of manufacturing, showcasing new achievements in the fields of low-carbon development and digital transformation within the manufacturing industry. It also highlighted China's progress in moving towards the global value chain amid industrial transformation. At the exhibition, DODGEN primarily showcased advanced technologies and equipment related to green materials, offering technical solutions in areas such as biodegradable plastics, lithium battery materials, bio-based materials, high-performance polymers, plastic recycling, photovoltaic materials, and more. This proactive response aligned with the era's trend towards low-carbon development.
DODGEN's core philosophy is "Green Technology, Continuous Regeneration," which aligns closely with the theme of this year's Industrial Expo: "Digital Economy &Industrial Decarbonization". "Focusing on the trend of low-carbon development and adhering to innovation leadership" was the hallmark and prevailing theme of the New Materials Industry Zone. It has also been the core driving force behind DODGEN's development since its inception. With the research and optimization of core technologies, we provide solutions to numerous businesses facing bottlenecks in their transformation and development, showcasing the immense potential of domestic brands and promoting the development of "domestic substitution."
